We began this trip in Rome and took the Train to Naples the next day and then onto Sorrento. We spend a few nights in Sorrento, the lively seaside resort facing the Gulf of Naples and home to the famous 'limoncello.'
We took a day trip to the the isle of Capri, a breathtaking mecca for the jet-set. One of the best parts of the trip was our excursion to the Amalfi Coast is included as well as a guided tour of many of the islands.
We returned to Rome for sightseeing and visits to the Colosseum and Roman Forum, Vatican and more. We had plenty of time to explore on our own.
